In the development of the S 8000 system, particular attention was paid to profile stability. Therefore, the main steel stiffener chambers were made larger.
The result is a very high compressive stiffness of the standard stiffeners, which in turn contributes to profile stability. This opens up possibilities for the construction of large elements and also allows window manufacturers to meet specific demands for large windows.
- The maximum height of the window elements is determined by the width of the window and the resulting total surface area.
- If the windows are large, the window elements will be subject to high forces.
- Stable steel rigid elements ensure high flexural strength and allow large windows to be built.
